Meet Rudy
Last night I took this photo of Rudy and wanted to share the story of his “I quit, I’m done” walking journey. It was a pretty short walk, just about 2 miles and he is a loads of energy type of pup, not quite 3 years old. Rather than pick him up entirely, we allowed some time to pause, even had a quick photo shoot, hahah, and I let him know the “Vision”, I know, whacked right? He listens, we all do, to even the subtlest of things. Sometimes that’s all it takes to get back up, I told him, “We’re almost home, and there’s some crazy awesome grass right over there!” After a set of irresistible photos, he carried on, and wow the burst of energy when we hit the vibrant green, cool, golf course grass! His dream come true, romping, rolling, galloping and bursting with energy, had him feeling INCREDIBLE!
My morning thought: Be Rudy, when you feel like quitting remember all the goodness that comes with what you’re doing, and / or be Me and be encouraging and a little firm by helping someone that you care for that might need a helping hand, a walk, a chat, some yoga, a bike ride, some shopping, a coffee, reaching out to someone is the quickest way to tap into your own joy too!
