What is Yogarok®?
Strong, athletic and sweating together since 2010.
It started as a concept and refined over the years: fun, pumping energetic music mixed with the calm of yoga to begin – and a strong, athletic class at the core with a nice cool down to continue on with a great day or evening. The music is all genres, something for all ages, pop, hip hop, classic rock and soothing sounds to close. Established for all levels, modifications are offered and it’s recommended to go at your own pace, always. Some days we need to tone it down, others, level up and wrap up your daily movement in 60 minutes.
About Us
Founded by Kathy Petrin in 2010, a busy mom of 3 boys and restaurateur. It was after just one yoga class, the magic of yoga was revealed. Fast forward to studio ownership, double Advanced 500 hour trainings, along with Kathy’s own YA certified 200hr trainings and full classes flowing to music of all genres. Yogarok is perfect for college students, high-performing executives, parents and communities of all ages and backgrounds. Truly something for anyone willing to listen to their body and move at their own pace when needed. Yogarok is like a well-oiled machine, the breath, connection & the music makes for an energizing, athletic, free the mind, full body experience!

Music
Adding energetic music to a traditional yoga class, ups heart rate for at least 20 minutes and adds a nice dose of seratone or “happy factor” to the practice.
